It’s Official!
Big news, baby: I had my first booking abroad in February, so I am officially an international travel companion! And what a trip it was 🥰 I am beyond grateful for the experience and hope this is the first of many worldwide FMTY adventures with wonderful people.
Not only did I leave the country, I went about as far across the globe as possible to enjoy five days with a relatively new suitor. It was all a bit of a whirlwind: we met twice in Manhattan within a week, and the next thing I knew, I was on a 30-hour journey to the other side of the world! I love visiting new places, and was obviously excited for the chance to escape cold, snowy New York. The winter doldrums are no match for being whisked away, especially someplace I can wear a bikini!
I could have stayed in Bali forever, as I’m sure you can imagine. Running a business, home, and social life can be exhausting, so I loved how my travel companion took the reins, allowing me to turn off the planning part of my brain for a week. I got to lay on several gorgeous beaches, enjoy outstanding food at every level, and the biggest decision I had to make all week was which aromatherapy scrub to use at the spa. Princess treatment is so sexy! I’m telling you, when all I have to do is show up and look pretty, I am the happiest, prettiest girl.

I would like to extend my gratitude to those who picked up on this closer to home. My March mini-tour in Boston and Hartford was truly delightful thanks to the planning and forethought of my sweet dates. Highlights include the Late Nights event at MFA Boston, featuring a Hokusai exhibit, and the food at Sorellina during an overnight in Back Bay. The dinner service was impeccable, and I will remember that green, light, homemade pea-shoot pasta alfredo forever. I can’t wait to be back next month, if not sooner. Remember, I can make the trip to Boston, Providence, Connecticut, or New Jersey anytime for a date of 3+ hours, just for you. Let’s turn some heads at a restaurant before going back to the hotel to revel in our joint sexiness. Such a sweet aphrodisiac, maybe I can even skip dessert. Maybe.
Spring finally feels truly upon us here in New York, and I am thrilled we can spend more time outside. Gardens are blooming for beautiful walks, and I can’t wait to get out on the water as it gets even warmer. This also means it’s time to get tickets for the summer theater season! Lincoln Center has a bustling calendar with all sorts of entertainment, including jazz, operas, and the ballet. The Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) is a lovely venue for concerts, orchestral selections, and has an evening with Audra McDonald on the calendar this year (August 10, just saying). And for a memorable experience in the mountains, Bard College’s Summerscape Festival outside Rhinebeck, NY has the option of dancing late into the night at the intimate Spiegeltent cabaret, the coolest tent you’ve ever seen. Spending the day enjoying some music and sunshine together sounds absolutely lovely, don’t you think?
Send me a message with what here caught your eye, or any fun ideas you have for us 🧡 I am so excited for beach and boating dates this summer that I’m starting a new pilates-inspired workout on Wednesday. I have been slacking a bit since my last coach stopped offering classes, so I hope this gym is a good fit. Massage/spa buddies and gift cards will be especially appreciated this season, that’s for sure. Wish me luck!
